Alamo Area HIMA Call for Nominations

We are excited to announce an opportunity for you to make a significant impact on our organization by joining the Alamo Area Board.

The Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Alamo Area HIMA. As a member, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic guidance, contribute your expertise, and help steer the organization towards its mission and goals.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about our mission and can bring diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences to our board. If you or someone you know is interested in making a difference and being part of a dynamic team, we invite you to submit nominations.

  • AAHIMA President Elect (3 Year Total Term)
  • AAHIMA Secretary (1 Year Term)
  • AAHIMA Treasurer (2 Year Term)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and support to our organization’s initiatives.
  • Attend board meetings and committee meetings as required.
  • Help raise awareness and resources for our cause.

Qualifications: We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities-

  • Commitment to our organization’s mission and values.
  • Relevant expertise and experience in AHIMA orientation functions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.

Nomination Process: If you or someone you know would like to nominate an individual for a board position, please submit your nomination.

The deadline for nominations is November 4th. After the nomination period ends, will review all submissions and contact potential candidates for further discussions.
